Do not forget to take some pictures while your inside the plane. It is amazing up there! |
At last after almost 2 hours of land travel from Kalibo airport, we finally arrive at Caticlan jetty port where we will ride a ferry to take us to Caticlan town proper. Before yo go inside the port terminal, you need to pay for the terminal fee P50 and environmental fee P75.
Inside the Caticlan jetty terminal port, you can sit while waiting and there is aircon inside the terminal as well. By the way the girl in the picture is my good friend Aileen. The Caticlan terminal model....hehehe :-)
You will be given a card and you need to tap the sensor using the card so you can enter the pathway going to where the boats are, It did feel like we were going inside the MRT or LRT station, hahahaha ;-) and that is Aileen again the ever so loyal model of the Caticlan Jetty port, hahaha :-)
This is where the ferry's are dock.
Do not forget to write you name on the manifesto, like what our Caticlan jetty port model is doing, hehehehe :)
Do not forget to wear your life jacket, beware of the stinky smell though, hehehehe ;-)
After 15-20 minutes of ferry ride this is what will greet you :) from here you will ride a tricycle, (5-10mins ) you can pay P100 pesos if you do not want to wait for other passenger or you can just pay for P20 for one person if your willing to wait ( they call it individual in Caticlan ). Just tell the driver where you want to be drop off, since we will be staying in D-talipapa, that is what we told our driver.
Home sweet home, this is where we stayed in Boracay. The price is P350 per person per night, sorry i can't disclose the name of the place, we are told not to. If you want to know about it just leave a comment and i will just give you the name of our contact and her mobile number.

Airport Terminal fee P200
Van fare and ferry ticket P200

To be continued again.....sleepy......yawn.....Zzzzzzzzz

ReplyDeleteHi medlock_1989,
DeleteSorry to inform you but my contact there is no longer working for that establishment and the owner do not rent it out anymore :-(
Do you know the reason kung bakit di na nila pinapa-rent yung place? Di kaya nalugi sila, sobrang mura kasi eh (just kidding)? or it might be the property was sold. Uso kasi ang mga boracay property for sale eh.
ReplyDeleteHi Keith,
DeleteRestaurant kasi ang nasa baba nun lodging na yun, cguro ginawa na nila house nila kaya di na pinarent. Pero true super mura nga sya :-)
