Brunei " the Abode of Peace"
Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddin Mosque
is one of the most spectacular mosques in Asia Pacific and is a magnificent sight. Named after the 28th Sultan of Brunei, the mosque, which is seen as a symbol of the Islamic faith in Brunei, dominates the skyline in the capital city, Bandar Seri Begawan. The golden dome of the mosque stands at 52m (171ft) high and can be seen from virtually anywhere in the city. The building was completed in 1958 and is an impressive example of Islamic architecture, with magnificent mosaic stained glass, as well as many arches, domes and columns. Marble from Italy, granite from Shanghai and chandeliers from England were all used in the construction of Brunei's most ornate building.
In Brunei it is normal to see pictures of Sultan Bolkiah scattered all over the country. You will see it outside the Office buildings, Hotels, Malls and Condominiums.

Singapore " The Merlion City"
Singapore is famous for being the cleanest city in the world. Tourists will be astonished and impressed by the strict rules and regulations formed by the Singapore government. There are many posters in buildings and parks telling people what they should do, what they shouldn't do and how much they will be fined if they break the rules. That is the reason why Singapore is called "the fine city". Singapore symbol which is the Merlion. The half mermaid half lion figure otherwise known as the Merlion has over the years become a well-known symbol of Singapore.

Singapore chili crab
2 Fresh whole crabs
1/2 Cup Flour
1/4 Cup Peanut oil
1 md Onion, finely chopped
5 Tbs Ginger, grated
4 Cloves, grated
5 Red chilies, finely chopped
2 Cups Ketchup
1 Cup Water
2 Tbs Soy sauce
2 Tbs Sweet chili sauce
1 Tbs Rice wine vinegar
2 Tbs Softened brown sugar
2 Cups Ketchup
1 Cup Water
2 Tbs Soy sauce
2 Tbs Sweet chili sauce
1 Tbs Rice wine vinegar
2 Tbs Softened brown sugar
Wash the crabs well and scrub the shell.
Using a large cleaver, cut the crabs in half and rinse well under cold water, carefully removing the yellow gills or spongy parts. With the flat side of the cleaver, crack the legs and larger front claws. (This is to makes eating crab easier.)
Lightly and carefully coat the shells with a little flour.
Heat about 2 tablespoons peanut oil in a large wok and cook two crab halves at a time. Using a metal utensil, carefully turn and hold the crab in the hot oil until the shell just turns red. Repeat with the remaining crab halves.
Add the remaining oil to the wok and cook the onion, ginger, garlic and chili for 5 minutes over medium heat and stirring regularly.
Add the ketchup, water, soy sauce, chili sauce, vinegar and sugar. Bring to boil and cook for 15 minutes.
Return the crab to the wok and simmer, turning carefully in the sauce for 10 minutes or until the crab meat turns white. Do not overcook.
Serve with steamed rice.

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
I want to share my experience with everyone how fun it is traveling around Asia and the joy of getting to try and taste the different cuisine that Asian Countries has to offer. Here is some of the pictures that i took while i was in Kuala Lumpur.
Petronas Tower in
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
When i travel there is a lot of walking. I do get hungry all the time...hahaha...Here is my favorite part....eating!!!
Beef Randang of KL Malaysia, It does taste like beef stew, just a little sweeter compared to our beef stew here in the Philippines.
Laksa of KL Malaysia, This Laksa is different from the Laksa of Singapore, its has a sour taste to it because of the calamansi that they put in it. It should be called the sinigang of Malaysia...hehehe
